BM Directly from Forum Post

    I am trying to figure out if it is possible to send a BM (or create a new conversation) related to a forum post like you used to be able to do by clicking on the envelope, keeping the title of the thread in the subject. This is particularly useful in the ISO:FT forum where you want to reach out to the OP directly instead of a follow up post without going to their profile to do so.

    Any help on this is appreciated. If this is not doable, consider this a suggestion. Thanks!

    The closest I can get is:

    • Copy the thread title
    • Click the OP's user name, bringing up the mini-profile pop-up
    • Click Start a Conversation
    • Paste the thread title

    Not too much work, but not as easy as the old way.

    Yeah, that is how I ended up doing it- thanks for the reply. I guess my feedback would be that the 'single-click' functionality was a really nice feature that would be great if was incorporated into the new forum design.

    That would be handy but it should be a low priority - you still get your message across by typing it. Whether or not the subject is automatically entered seems unimportant.
