I was one that got the ticket in my cart and didn't process the transaction fast enough so I lost it. I would have been faster had I known that it wasn't guaranteed once it was in your cart but it is what it is. Oh well, it's not the end of world. I never understand the butthurt that occurs about this stuff. It's just beer. If the variants sound good when they announce them, I may do the waiting in line thing to try and got one of the 60 extra 4 pks. If not, I save money.

Pre-sale tix went live at 9:58 AM. I got mine.

I got one too. Hopefully the variants are good (which is never guaranteed with AtG).

Question: For those who scored tickets to purchase the variant 4-packs is there really a reason to get in the bottle line early? Are bottles of additional regular Bo & Luke typically available throughout the night?

I assume that there will be a line of people to purchase the 60 additional 4-packs and they will probably get first dibbs at the additional variants (i.e., vanilla/cognac).

If you already have a ticket and want to try and score the additional variants not in the 4 pack then get in line. If not, enjoy all the draft offerings and BO & Luke Variants on tap, wait for the line to die down and grab your 4 pack then. That would be my recommendation.

There's also a rumored 'extra' bottle being released the next day at the AtG Portland facility.

I'm wondering if the bonus bottles aren't some of last year's variants, like Date & Fig and Cherry Bitters, since last year the bonus bottles were from keg only releases from the previous year.

Anyone know what time they're tapping the variants? Plan on getting there a couple hours before 4..

Sold out before 10am? I tried right at 10am and had no luck? I wonder how many people purchased that aren't local :slight_frown:? Oh well. Guess I'll try them on tap.

Probably not until the bottle release, like last year.

What's 'local'? There's a boatload coming from Lexington.

I would consider Lexington local. I'm talking people who purchased from out of state really or not within the Louisville area.

Question for the regulars: I've got a ticket for the 4 pack, but if I take my time getting in, will I still be able to walk away with some bottles of the standard Bo & Luke? Do they sell out quickly?

Every time through the line you should be able to buy 3 regulars on that day until they run out. But there's 260 4-packs, so I'd guess there's at least 1k bottles of regular available that day.

Another question: How is the bottle share situation? Does it run earlier in the day and throughout? I know they posted on social media that they don't "police" the surrounding parking lots.

If you've got presale tix, and you don't care about the public sale or the rare singles, you can share in the parking lot. There was a lot of IP trading last year, but no sharing going on that I was aware of.

If you're in line, you're on AtG property, so you can't share bottles. Unless they somehow move the line off property this year.

I shared many beers in line last year. Also purchased poured inside and drank them out in the line.

In town for the Louisville BC game this Saturday, sounds like getting a few bottles of the reg. bo and luke shouldn't be a problem if I show up a bit after 5? Or did I miss interrupt something? (I don't have a presale ticket)

So 4:00? I heard last year that many of the draft-only variants went on tap around 2:00 and kicked by 4:00.

I'm trying to figure out when to get there myself. Last year, I got one of the presale tickets and couldn't make it down until about 9 pm to pick mine up, so everything else was obviously gone by then. Got another one this year and I can actually make it down earlier. I don't plan on standing in line, but I'd also prefer not to sit there for hours before the variants go on tap.
