Tried to find the answer from an old forum, but no luck. Apologies if I missed it.

I have 2 bottles of Bo & Luke, one that I purchased this year in NYC and another that I received in a trade last year. They are shaped differently:

    [IMG] and [IMG]

Neither bottle has a date. Is there any way to determine if the older bottle was aged in Pappy barrels and/or which batch it is?

    Thanks folks!

The bottle in the 2nd photo is the shape they are using for their more recent batches. The last 2 years ATG has used that bottle. Before that it was the shape you see in the first photo. I don't know this for a fact, but I always assumed the only batch that used pappy barrels was batch 1. I also think that was before ATG was packaging any beer so it was draft only. This is just an educated guess so if someone else knows definitively, hopefully they can chime in on this.

The first one could be an original batch. I don't know how long they used that shaped bottle but it wasn't long.

If I remember, the original batch had an insane amount of wax too. I think I spent 10 minutes getting it open.

They used the first bottle type until mid/late 2014.
