Boat Beer Kegs

No carton is self distributing all their beer. So that means you gotta drive to carton for kegs. You can always call them before hand to see what they have ready to sell.

 

Good to know. I would like to have this poured for my wedding coming up in June and I was wondering if I can get it somewhere in the Philly area.

 

Joe Canals West Deptford is showing a sixtel of Boat for $80 on beermenus. I think Kings Liquors in Sicjlerville has sold them in the past too.

 

Anyone know what Carton charges from the brewery? Would love to get Boat on tap for the summer

 

"Distributor" in NJ (and most ever other state ) means "wholesaler" and, by law, can only sell to retail licensees - liquor and other stores, bars, restaurants.

I imagine the stores that carry the self-distributed Carton cans and/or have Carton on tap at their growler stations may stock or could order Carton kegs to sell to retail customers. Checking with @augiecarton would be your best bet.

(I've seen Carton kegs in several stores' coolers - but now that I think about it, they might be "theirs" - meant for their growler stations and not for sale to customers).

like all things for a place our size the answer is tough.

1. we will sell kegs to places for peoples homes if we are very confident we will get them back. they are ours and we need them in a very tight and regular rotation to keep up
   
2. we don't park kegs for home use. meaning if a place doesn't have a growler station we won't sell them kegs to just sit on, you need to arrange it through them and us and they will get a keg next time our truck is close
   
3. all of our long standing bar/restaurant accounts get priority on each production, and these days that has meant a lot of "nos" to new bar customers and home use
