I have some in the fridge it's solid but gives me a headache if I drink more than one can a day.
I bought a 4x12oz pack of this today:

Is there anything(s) specific that make this beer "not very good"? For example, does it suffer from a technical brewing flaw(s) such as diacetyl? Or is it a case of it does not taste to style? Or...

    Cheers!

They have some problems. Cap Maibock used to be my favorite way back when.

I won't even buy Autumnal Fire anymore.

Well, better late than never. A cross posting from the NE thread.

The bread is just as forward as expected, more wheat in the aroma and toasted pumpernickel in the flavor. By no means sweet, or bitter. Lots of sun tea. Chewy full body, smooth with the woolly texture of an Irish fisherman’s sweater.

We may have skipped Winter. Oh well, I’m still going to celebrate lent the right way. With a fair share of these malt bombs.

Having another More Bartlett Maibock post workout right now. Probably equal to what I liked about Capital Maibock back when.

Packer fan, born in Illinois... but until I move north (or back, in your case) I won't pretend to be a cheesehead. I just know the handshake.

This big Bock is locally brewed and Sherman Street did a really nice job with this one. Really enjoyed it last year when they first introduced it and will be going back for more of this year's batch. :yum:

Um. Six times? You need to catch up, man.

And since I can count 3 County Stadium games in my portfolio, I imagine you're a pup.

I'm a stockholder with my own share and the one I inherited from my dad -- whose I bought anyway!

Again -- this is all me joshing -- Wisconsin folk have been my chosen kin for many decades.

This makes me sad, as a past enthusiast who moved away from their distro area when a relationship fell apart.

    What happened to AF?

    Duh.

@UrbanCaveman -- the AF had the same bad diacetyl problem as most of the other beers.
