It is me, or is the Cincy OH area really stepping it up of late? Saw this listing for the annual Bockfest in OTR area of Cincy coming up March 7-9.... Arnold's Bar and Grill is rolling out the red carpet for bock beers for Bockfest 2014, which takes place March 7-9 in Cincinnati. The bar said it will offer 18 bocks, including some exclusive tappings from local brewers Triple Digit, Rivertown, 50 West and Christian Moerlein. The exclusive tappings start at noon March 8 with Triple Digit Bourbon Barrel Gravitator Dopplebock. Then, Cask Conditioned Chardonnay Barrel Oaked Rivertown Bock will be tapped at 1 p.m., 50 West Bocklava at 2 p.m. and a Moerlein Emmancipator Doppelbock" specialty keg" at 3 p.m. In addition to those, the following bocks will be on available starting Friday at 1 p.m.: Christian Moerlein Emancipator Doppelbock, Schoenling Bock, Hudepohl Bock, Weidemann Bohemian Bock, Triple Digit Gravitator Dopplebock, Rivertown Bock, 50 West Road Bock, Mt Carmel Maplebock, Victory Moonglow Weizenbock, Dark Horse Perkulator Coffee Dopplebock, Bell’s Consecrator Dopplebock, Troeg’s Cultivator Helles Bock, Horny Goat Baby Got Bock, and Southern Tier Goat Boy Imperial Weizenbock. The three-day party at Arnold's also includes live music and a craft market. These beers at Arnolds being released sound pretty amazing!
