Fresh Andechs "Dopplebock Dunkel" for me please.
Thomas Hooker "Liberator" will work as well.

I've been looking for this guy, I reeeally want to try it. Also, I just tasted Troeg's Scratch 57 which is a chocolate weizenbock. Very chocolate-banana-esque.

I can't live without Ayinger Celebrator, therefore doppelbocks. Also I like the plastic goats. I'm making a mock battlefield with the goats on one side and plastic army men on the other.

My favorite is Spaten's Optimator. Sam Adams Double Bock, Eggenberg's Urbock 23 and Aventius Eisbock are excellent choices I,too, will miss SN Glissade. Yuengling makes a good bock beer and at a low price. Michelob Amber Bock is worth mentioning.

Paulaner Salvatore doppelbock is one one of my favorite beers regardless of style. Plus, it's hard to beat the label, a bunch of old fat guys standing around drinking beer from huge mugs, in what appears to be robes. That's the life

If my memory serves me well Moonglow came out at the end of the Oktoberfest beers, thought it was curious as I always associated Bocks with spring.

That's understandable, based on many old traditions, but there are a lot of German breweries (especially Bavarian) that have Winter or Christmas Bocks, and Victory enjoys its German heritage. After all, a good, hearty brew goes great on a cold winter's night!

A bunch? Well, one guy's in a robe -- after all, it was monks who invented the style. The other one looks to be traditional 18th century garb.
