I counted 12 guys all together on the six-pack I bought, 6 monks in robes and 6 going as George Washington to the costume party (18 if you included the guy in profile on the logo).

I stand corrected. Hmmm, I wonder if the more of them you drink the more fat guys you see or if perhaps I was somehow morphing that label with the label for Paulaner Oktoberfest Wiesn in my mind and thus visualizing an entire courtyard full of robust fellows quaffing huge tankards.

I've got a nice little collection of those microgoats myself.

Korbinian or Optimator for me, doppelbocks are the biz.

Donunrue said the label, an image of which I posted. Don't know what's on the sixpack as I never buy that many at one time. Lush. :grinning:

Aah- so my memory was playing tricks on me. Thanks for the info; I'll have to remember to start bugging my guy about it come September.

Well, I'm not saying that I necessarily drank them all at the same time but, I agree, consuming all six in one sitting could cause one to either count incorrectly, or see double...

I agree, a luscious beer, for sure (tho' I've never seen it abbreviated that way. Must be one of them modern internet abbreviation all you young dudes use! )

I'm actually in a bock mood right now. Never had Celebrator and I'll probably pick one up tonight. I love Aventinus and Salvator.

I picked up a twelve-pack of the new Otter Creek Spring (Mai)Bock, and I must say it is a damn fine beer. Sat in the front yard last night, with a nice spring breeze, and this beer really chubbed me out.

Not my favorite brewery, but this one and Copper Ale Altbier make them a staple in my yearly repetoire.

Agreed there -- I just finished off a six pack I got a couple weeks ago and was really impressed with this beer.

Never had that one, as we only get the Cream Ale here in lower NY. Seems a bit low on the ABV for the style
