Love, LOVE Beersmith, and it's helped my brewing immensely since my wife got me a copy as a birthday gift. However, I'm a bit confused about something. When I change the boil time (which I want to do, as I'm going to start brewing recipes with lots of pils malt and dont want to deal with DMS) none of the gravities (esp. anticipated SG) change. This obviously can't be a true reflection of what's going on, as an additional 30 minutes is going to involve more evaporation and thus, a concentration of the wort. How do you compsensate for this, is there a problem with my software, or is it juts a setting I need to change somewhere? Thanks much!

I don't use beersmith, but perhaps it is adjusting your starting water volume (strike and/or spage) for you so that you end up with same final volume. If so, you may want to increase the expected efficiency slightly.

Nothing changes because it increases your sparge water volume based on the boil-off that you've entered for your equipment profile.

If you want to change your OG due to a longer boil, reduce your anticipated final batch size, say from 5 gals to 4.5 gals, while keeping the grain qtys fixed. This will give your OG a bump up.
