Two different styles of beer (according to this site), but they taste very similar IMO. Also the price is comparable. Any thoughts as to differences/similarities? Any preferences as to which you prefer?

I haven't had OV in quite some time, but I seem to remember being very underwhelmed...something along the lines of soy sauce if I remember correctly, but Bois on the other hand....WOW! I haven't had it from the bottle yet, but I did have a glass of it on tap during Seattle Beer Week, and it was straight up amazing. All that being said, I'd really like to try OV again sometime soon.

Not very similar at all IMO. The bourbon character shines in both beers, but one has the dark fruit and oak shining through (Bois)...whereas OV has the roasted malt, chocolate, and coffer shining through. Both awesome beers, but Bourbon Bois takes the cake for me. You should try to get your hands on the Rye Whiskey Bois OP. It will blow your mind.

These two beers aren't comparable IMO. Bois is awesome and I would never buy Older Viscosity again.

My preference is that I much prefer Bois... preferably the Brandy one.
