Are the places to go just Bier 30 and Prefunk or am I missing any?

Brewer's Haven has some good bottles as well. The Co-Op usually has a good selection, but I think Bier 30 is probably the best.

Prefunk is not a bottle shop... It is a beer bar/growler-fill station. I have stopped down there 6 or more times and never even paid for a growler-fill. Nothing has been that interesting and so far, anything I have seen has been easily available in bottles other places... That said, they seem to have a following.. I am just not one of them.

Bier Thirty is one of the best but are getting ready to go through a remodel and have been paring down their shelves. This will be a "go-to" once the remodel is complete.

Brewforias (Meridian/Eagle) have pretty decent bottle selections but much of it is older and kept warm... and they are MUCH more expensive than most other places.

The COOP has probably the cheapest bottles but probably not the "best bottle selection"... but they keep good care of it. You are not likely to get an old IPA or a dusty stout.

Brewer's Haven... Pretty great bottle selection... Almost ANYTHING on the warm shelves are going to be damaged and not worth the price.

Home Brew Stuff... Same as Brewer's Haven.

Erickson's.... Older bottles most places have long sold out of, but still have a decent pedigree.

Whole Foods... Be careful of anything from the warm shelves... It is too warm to be storing most of their beers outside the coolers.

    Hope this helps... Toby.

Damn I thought Bier 30 would be done with the remodel by now, over the summer the person I spoke too acted like it was going to start within the next 30 days. Thanks for all the info.

That was probably me! I was a little overly optimistic about how easy the whole process would be. We do have dates now (finally), Nov. 17th through the 19th.

When we open back up look for a much more curated selection vs. a larger selection. We'll be stocking about 400-450 beers, it'll all be cold and hopefully, stuff you can't find at the grocery store. I have a bunch of fun stuff hanging out in the backroom right now waiting for the remodel, some Bruery goodies, HotD, Midnight Sun, Lost Abbey, vintage FW, etc.

So you will be fully operational right after Xmas?
