I see Bokke bottles for trade pop up often, and I guess I just got curious. Whats the deal with this brewery? They look closed? On hiatus? If it was open, could I visit the brewery? Where can/could I obtain bottles? Nothing is very clear, the website is "disabled", and I'm curious as to whats going on.
It's a blender, Raf Souvereyns, who started bottling as Bokkereyder but shortened it to Bokke after a legal dispute. He uses unique fruit combinations and his blends are for the most part excellent. He paused operations a couple years ago due to a health issue but has recently been putting things in barrels again and it's anticipated he could release some bottles in the fall of this year.
