Exactly! That is why the OP put some info in the South regional for those in Cincy. They can drive across the bridge to the South!

As an Ohioan this shit is ridiculous if I can buy wine & liquor that would smoke a 15% abv beer. Someone explain this rationale to me, NO FREAKING SENSE!!

Liquor laws are very, very stupid. 21 age limit is fine but no 12%+ beers? Why?

Believe it or not when I first came of age in the mid-90's it was capped @ 7%, a beer such as Aventinus, was only carried by a brave few, mostly small ethnic European places. I was told by a store owner @ that time that MADD had put pressure on to keep the abv cap low. Which again is ridiculous when young drinkers went for quantity NOT quality. C'mon how many were pounding hard liquor and chasing it with Natty Light, having no clue about stuff like Aventinus. Thankfully there were those shop keepers who stocked exotic stuff, for the time that is, I remember buying stuff between 10-12%abv incl. Sam Adams Quad bock in its cobalt blue bottle.

Interesting. Your right about young drinkers. Im fairly young for a craft beer drinker and im often confused when I buy fancy beers and get carded for it. Nobody under 21 knows good beer even exists.
