Does anyone know if the newest release of @prairieales Bomb! with no wax is the same batch orange wax or if it is a new batch?

Are you asking if they brewed a batch of Bomb!, filled and waxed half that batch, waited ~4months on a chile/coffee/vanilla beer, then filled other non waxed bottles with the same batch?.....

I highly doubt it but I have been wrong before...

No wax is Arkansas release. Or do you mean the new, film-wrapped bottles?

The batch that just hit Texas has no wax.

It has a new wrap like Bible Belt, but not wax.

He means that the bottles that just hit Texas (or at least Austin) have neither wax nor wrap.

Yeah, I thought it had that new plastic film. We don't get Prairie down here, so I wouldn't know.

They have decided to do away with the use of wax due to some rusting factor and its cheaper/ quicker.

No reason to wax a beer you should be drinking fresh IMO.

But it screams that I need to hoard it. How am I supposed to know what to hoard if there is no wax job?

I am currently working on waxing all of my Austin Beerwork Heavy Machinery cans currently. Definitely cellar worthy.

Wow... craft aluminum cans..... how do hipsters feel about that?

(let me say... I'm all for them.. that is awesome...sadly, I'm not cool enough to be a hipster, hence the question above)
