Plenty at Specs Round Rock along with a rusted out shipment of white-wrapper Bible Belt. What's going on with those?

An HEB in Round Rock posted this pic this morning, and you can SEE the brown seeping under the paper on the Bible Belt. This is exactly what my Noirs looked like. RR Specs said theirs looks the same way. :slight_frown:

I believe this is why the Wine Noir came paperless (despite the initial pics showing it with the white paper) along with the recent Bomb!. They took the paper off of them because some were having that problem. Thus, not wax or paper from Prairie moving forward is my understanding.

My guess is that the problem is the caps, not the wax or the paper. Having no wax or paper simply makes this issue harder to spot, but it isn't an actual solution to the problem itself.

Makes sense -- never had any issues myself, but clearly some are...

This is def what it seems like. It seems like a new capper may be in the future.

Strange. All of the latest Bomb I've seen in Houston has white film.

They did a batch of Bomb! with the white film that has been been out for a bit in OK and is now here in TX...not sure if TX got some of the remnants, but some of the recent Bomb! to hit down here is completly plain as well - see kmello's picture above.

I wonder what the wholesale is on Parabola, I would imagine Goody Goody was losing money at $12.75. These special release beers have such a wide range of prices. As low as $12.75 and as high as $25.99 at others (I left it there)

FWIW, I paid $17 for most of my, uh, ~10 bottles last year. Don't think I got it cheaper anywhere else, definitely paid $21 or something at at least one place.

    FSW parabola

    $75 a case of 6 = $12.50 per bottle we sold it at $18.99 + tax = 30+%

    Cheers,

Not to rub it in but the one bottle I got this year was 12-something at Total Wine during ACBW which made it 11-something after the 15% discount. Worth every penny.

Crap just looked at the 2 Bible Belts I bought today at D&Q and they are both like that. Didn't even notice it when I grabbed them off the shelf.
