I'm getting tons of coffee in the nose, and a decent amount in the taste. Tons of dark fruit on that finish though. Less bitterness to me than orange wax. Still barely any to no chilies for me to speak of, which I haven't really gotten a decent amount of since pink wax. Still always a fantastic brew each time.

So, I ended up with a green wrapped Bible Belt(old?), and a no wrap Bomb!. Any reasoning for the difference in packaging?

Those are the newest batches. It seems like there is some variation in bottling for some reason.

I couldn't pick out any chili flavor or heat really in my new bottle of Bomb! from this batch the other night. I remember getting a bit of it when I had it on tap though, and was a bit disappointed it the chile seemed to be lighter or missing. Still fantastic.

Anybody tried this new batch of Bible Belt yet? I remember that having a slightly stronger chile component when i tried it side by side with Bomb! on tap. Hopefully the bottles of Bible Belt have some chile to speak of too.

So what do you do with the ones that are rusted? Toss em? Will Prairie give you a new one? Out of curiosity I went and checked the one I have with the white film and I can see rust spots. :slight_frown:

Without having one to date, drink it and try to do so without even thinking about the rust since. Worst case, it sucks- take a pic, email Prairie and explain I'm sure they would find a way to make it right. Best case- the cap edges got rusted and nothing is wrong with your beer.

Guess I'll drink that one tonight and pull a green film one out of rotation to age it like I had planned with the white one.
