Terrapin Mosaic and Liquid Bliss used to be bomber, they are now 12oz.

Yeti has recently shown up in 12 oz 4-packs. Loving it!

Now if only Maine could start bottling 12 oz beers in 4 packs.

Loved the transition of VAS to 12 oz bottles.

I think the hard sell would be for a brewery or bottle shop to carry over the cost per ounce of a bomber to a four or six pack format.

As stated before, my gut is also in the same place, but even in 4-packs, I think I can still manage to drink 3 of the 4 before the best before date...

Proof of how bombers often get priced too high, cuz I'm sure they're not taking a loss on the 4 packs!

Framinghammer from Jacks Abby dropped in a four pack the same time as smuttynose baltic porter. Loving it new change. Smutty BP will also be year round so thats a new staple in my beer fridge.

Lagunitas Night Time is now in 6 packs. If I recall, it was only in bombers last year.

I mean even smaller than that. A pint growler would be amazing

I wish all bombers would go to 4 packs. It too much at time to drink a bomber. I recently was able to pick up Great Divide Yeti and Upland Teddy Bear Kisses in 4 packs. Much easier to drink. Hope they put the Chocolate oaked aged yeti in a 4pack.

I prefer 12 oz. bottles (or cans) over bombers. Sometimes a bomber is just too much for one sitting if there is no one to share with. I wish Firestone Walker would put their barrel aged beers in a 12 ounce format.

I'm mostly a bomber type of guy as I like to share with others and a bomber is typically the right amount for a group of 3-4 to taste. Getting the quantity that you're after is typically a rarity for me as I'm all about trying new things as often as I can in lieu of stocking up on a bunch of one thing.

I wouldn't mind seeing hopslam in the dirty thirty format

Lagunitas Nighttime is now in 12oz six packs. Aside from Imperial Red always, and Hop Stoopid on occasion, I rarely want more than one 12oz of their stuff at the time. Sucks quarts might be doable too, but I haven't seen it fresh enough to find out :stuck_out_tongue: ( :slight_frown: )

4 pack 12 oz are perfect for seasonals and bigger beers that AREN'T barrel-aged. I'm still fine with 22 or 750 BA beers because those are meant to either share and/or save and savor for special occasions. I'd love to see some sours in 4 pack format, too, because, let's be honest, some of us want to drink them more often and pay less per ounce. Having a 12 oz sour a couple times a week rather than a 1x month bomber is preferable.

A lot of bombers get put on warm shelves to collect dust and rot...some of the smarter breweries realize that 12oz's are easier to put in the cooler and thus generate higher sales, I remember reading years back that 85% of beer sold is sold cold...I'm sure someone on this site has more more accurate/better numbers.

I much prefer the 12-16oz format. Easier to drink, ship, trade, drink from the container ect. Easier to dispose of if you don't care for the beer also. Plus if you want to drink a stronger beer you don't get too tanked
