All beer should be in only 30 racks or full keg sizes, anything else is too expensive per ounce.

I really don't care what a beer cost if i really want it.I like bombers and do not have a problem finishing them.I do agree however that they are hard to carry if you have a lot at once.

just crushed a bomber of thrillseeker no prob.

however, I do see an issue of having a bomber of barrel aged stuff if your drinking by yourself

Have been and will continue to be on a bomber protest. Not that I don't buy them, but am extremely selective when purchasing bombers. That is how I protest. Basically, I'm a lazy protester. Basically, I'm lazy. Which would normally go well with bombers, except that I'm protesting them.

I saw the title and thought "can we have a moratorium on bomber threads until someone has an original opinion to share?" Then I read this:
That is definitely a new complaint to me. Oh, and is anyone else wondering what the etc. is referring to? Nope? Just me? Carry on, folks.

I buy all bombers or 750s. The amount is perfect for me. People who complain about the cost of beer are like people who complain about the cost of gas. You can't control it and for most of us we have to have it.

For me, the biggest issue is not the ABV or the price. I'm on Weight Watchers, so a bomber of beer counts as almost double the points for a 12 oz. bottle. And it's even more as the ABV goes up. If I'm going to have a bomber of an 8% - 12% beer at night I have to start planning in the morning what I'm going to eat for the whole day. I will look into the stoppers mentioned here, since I haven't been able to find any that work for me.

And I absolutely HATE when I spend $8 for a bomber and it totally sucks. Stone's brew Matt's Burning Rosids was horrible, but after spending the money I felt compelled to finish it, not pour it out. I'd already allotted for it. In retrospect I should have taken the loss. The memory... O the horror...

I personally am not a fan of them for multiple reasons. I don't necessarily want to drink a 22 Oz highish abv beer by myself, you usually have to drink it all in one night or it loses carbonation, I much prefer 12 or 16 Oz bottles/cans, and they are also often pricey for the amount of beer they hold.
