Bombers make verticles difficult unless you have a bunch of people. I like four packs, one now, on later , one in a year one in a vehicle. 12Oz bottles make a cellar possible on a poor mans budget

if you are paying $9 for a bomber of top notch beer still equals a price of $18 per 4/pk and not many of us are going to put out that much cash without some info on that beer.in essence the aurgument that a beer might be bad is not that likely with all of the networks we have at our touch of our computer or phone.Cheers

4/6 packs for the money, yeah better deal. But I prefer a superb bomber/750 over a sub-par 4/6 pack, unless however it was BCBS....

The breweries are in business to make money so they are going to stick to bombers cause you get less for more money. 22 oz is a lot to drink especially with a bourbon aged style.

there are a lot of great 4/6 packs. heady, kbs, expedition, breakfast stout, peruvian morning, ten fidy, palo santo, zombie dust, a vast array of barleywines from various breweries, etc... and those i get to enjoy on several occasions as opposed to a one time thing for 10 bucks a pop

Why not just buy a superb 4/6 pack then?

I wish nothing larger than a 12oz bottle even existed.

I buy whatever size the beer I want is sold in. I spend my "grumbling time" focused more on bottle dating than bottle size...

Bombers are no doubt more expensive but where the hell are you shopping? $14.99 for Pumking? I pay $6.99, never saw it for more than $7.99 anywhere. And the Yeti is normally in the $10 range. Best to shop around if your bottle shop is charging those kind of prices.
Having said that, I will always go with 4 or 6 packs over bombers in any beer which is offered in both formats (Yeti being one of them) as they are a much better value.

Six packs for all. Do love the two serving bottles though.

For small breweries the 22oz bottle will always be the preferred package. 12oz bottles need 4/6 pack carriers(extra expense) and fancy printed case boxes(extra expense). The minimums on these are high so you have to buy a boatload(large layout of cash). So, for the small brewer this does nothing but erode an already slim margin. The 22oz bottle comes in it's own case box, doesn't require a carrier and labels can be applied to the case box vs. printing.

I know that 22oz bottles are sometimes more than you want to enjoy but for some breweries it's the only package that is feasible...

AFTER they're done bottling their bottles. Put a date on that damn bottle for pete's sake. Much as I hate to do it, I walk right past by the hop stoopids on the shelves, too afraid to burn myself after the last 5 were very ordinary to state the least, with no idea how long they were sitting on the shelves before I picked them up.

I am in the same boat. I've only been really drinking craft beer for almost two years... I like the bomber because i can either split with a buddy or have two full glasses, usually one just before/during dinner and one after...

that said, Hop Stoopid became a bit too much at the 19oz mark haha... a 12er would definitely be perfect!

I am a 25 minute drive from about 10 different bottle shops in Pittsburgh. Bombers here are insanely expensive.

$12.99 is the cheapest I've seen Pumking, and this was last week when the craze for pumpkin beers has been long dead. It's crazy because a case of this stuff at a beer distributor 5 minutes from my house sells a case of 15 for $75.

All beer should come in small format sizes. However, this isn't likely to ever be achieved. It's hard being a ticker sometimes.

Bombers all the way, although 375s are appreciated from time to time. Can't see myself drinking more than 2 of the same beer most of the time uless I am sharing, and when I do share I prefer a 2L growler.
