Hi everyone, my wife is traveling to Bonn in a couple weeks for a conference and I'm hoping she will be able to pick up some cool European craft beer for me while she is over there. I was originally hoping she would be able to get some Cantillon (Belgium is so close!), but after reading a couple other posts this seems unlikely.

Any recommendations on cool bottle shops and/or interesting beer to pick up would be appreciated. Looking for good stuff that rarely makes it to the US.

    Thanks.

P&M Getränke is the shop you might want to send your wife to. Click on "Sortiment" on the right hand side and then on "Bier". You will be presented with a nice list, including lots of Belgians.

Wow, they have more Belgian beers than I've seen, even, dare I say it, Cantillon. The have all the good Alts from Düsseldorf (Schüssel, Schumacher, Füchsen, Uerige), almost all the Kölsch (Gaffel, Peters, Reissdorf) Some decent German craft beers (Fritz Ale) and other really good German traditional beers (Mahrs U, Maisel, Schneider Weisse's whole lineup), 6 from Sierra Nevada, and Brewdog, plus Fullers from Britain. Otherwise, the usual suspects of Fernsehbiere. This looks better than what I have in FfM.

@boddhitree You're listing Gaffel and Reissdorf as good Kölsch???
