Anyone traded or traded for this recently? I'd like to get a few bottles but don't really know what they've been going for. Just trying to do my homework. Cheers!

$4$ should get it done with harder to find locals I would think. I see it every now and then on shelves. I am not too familiar about trade value as I just drink the ones I find  Drank an 07 about a month ago and it was sublime...

    Best of luck!

Interesting notes... I haven't seen it in Southern California for a long time.

I don't think I've ever seen them on a shelf in the Bay Area (Toronado has some in their cellar, but that's true of A LOT of things). It's weird that this seems to be the one gueuze everyone gets but us.

for some reason Boon stopped being distributed to CA back in 2009, not sure what happened.

I gave away 2 bottles of 2002 recently, one in an LIF with other Gueze and one to a local trade partner who loves that beer. Great beer and should as mentioned trade $4$ for other quality beer to people outside the distribution.

Is the kriek mariage as attainable? I got the geuze in Japan and was very impressed. I think it was a 2004. They also had the kriek, and I'm regretting not picking it up.

There was a big discussion thread about that beer on the other beer site... if I remember, it is actually the same beer as the regular kriek is now.

Other site is down so I can't search, but I can say that the 2008 MP Kriek isn't anything like the Oude Kriek from Boon, nor the regular Kriek either. Not sure if there is a more recently labeled version?

Edit: Forgot the obvious- MP-K is 8%, Oude is 6%.

On MP-Kriek, did a quick check- of the 3 places that I know that carry it online normally, only one is showing it in-stock, which is West Lakeview Liquors.

The Boon website list them as having different ABV http://www.boon.be/en/our-beers/kriek-mariage-parfait
