Not paying attention to the retail side of things and with this one just being released in November? I was wondering if it was around anywhere? Especially in Massachusetts or Rhode Island?

Frank Boon (pronounced bone) is a lambic producer, and has recently released F. Boon "Vat 109 mono blend". I'm not sure what mono blend means, but it's apparently a special release aged in Cognac barrels; and I'm guessing based on the quality of his other beers, quite good.

To answer blisscent, I have never seen it

I picked up a VAT 79 at Streetcar in JP earlier this month. Don't recall there being other variations though.

I understood the "monoblend" to mean it was different years of lambic taken from that single foeder and blended (vs. blend of years from multiple barrels/foeders).
