Boon

Dude at those 750ml prices...Those ain't bad at all. I'd pay that all day for half-way decent gueuze. I don't care for Lindeman's Cuvee Renee at all. Too much green apple for me.

Boon is very good, but I'm drinking black label Girardin, and I think it blows Boon out of the water. This is going to require more intense savoring and studying. I must go.

 

Well ya, but where can you get Girardin black label in Texas? Personally, I like convenience.

 

You cherrypicked one sentence instead of the whole banana. I suggest you take your shirt off and start playing Careless Whisper. Preferably while surrounded by jumping dolphins.

Yep. I still see Timmermans Oude Gueuze "Limited Edition" around town, and as mentioned, Lindemans Gueuze Cuvée René. I like both.

 

Not really. The thread was about Boon being here in TX and you even started down that road by comparing it to Lindemans, but then you turned to comparing it to Girardin, which isn't found locally and thus isn't relevant to the thread. Anyone could pipe up about how much they like something not found here over something that is, but in a thread about something new to local shelves it is sidetracking. Heck, I could say how much I like some other brew in here as well, but I'm not about to snub a decent brew that just arrived because I prefer something else that I would have to trade to get.
