Hey everyone, I am doing my 30th birthday this year at the Boonville Beerfest on May 4th. I'm looking for camping tips based on the choices listed on the website: Mendocino Fairgrounds Camping – (first come first served) Indian Creek Campground – No showers Campsite $20 per night Hendy Woods SP – showers and firewood available. 92 campsites $35 per night per site, 4 cabins $50 per night per cabin. YOU MUST HAVE RESERVATIONS Navarro River Redwoods State Park – 26 campsites , running water/flush toilets, no showers – Campsite $25 per night per site (first come, first served) A friend suggested Hendy, but it appears to be all booked up. My questions are as follows: 1. What are the best campgrounds in the area/of those listed? 2. I've heard they have shuttles from certain campgrounds, is that correct? If so, which ones? 3. Any other suggestions for attending this festival? I may take Friday off to score a campground at one of the first come/first serve places if recommended. Thanks.
The party definitely continues at the fairgrounds after the taps close. Don't stay there if you're looking for a quiet night. Maybe I'll see you there!
