    @Portland IPA (Double Dry-Hopped American IPA); 6.2%; 16oz can
    What could be "more Portland" than two homegrown brands working together to create Portland's favorite type of beer? We've teamed up with the folks at @Portland Gear to bring you this special variant of our flagship IPA recipe. we've taken our two standard bearer IPAs—Wanderlust and Breakside IPA—and brought elements of each into this new release. Beyond the IPA mash up, we've doubled down on our dry hop in this beer, splitting our aroma charge into two separate additions and adding in some extra varietals and weight to give the beer even more punch than normal. One taste and you'll be proud to live in this city that truly is Beervana, USA.

    Would be able to describe in detail what is meant by "dank" when drinking this beer?

    Are black IPAs harder to make since you don't see them as often? Can you turn Wanderlust into a Black IPA, or do only certain malt/hop profiles work?

    Hey Ben, thanks for answering our questions. I also haven't tried anything from Breakside or Portland ipa. That's mainly because I am on the East Coast. This sounds like a great beer though. So if you didn't get into Beer Brewing what other venture would you have seeked out? Thanks again!!

    Tell us about a time where either you made a beer based on someone's idea and you thought it would be awful but it turned out great, or it should have been great but the flavor profile was surprisingly uneventful/bad.

    Portland is such a beer mecca, what have you done along the way that has helped you stand out from the pack?

    PS. Thanks so much for shipping your beer. Excited to try it.

    Damn good drinking Ben, Portland's IPA was hoppy, yet not too bitter. Great Job.

    I just bought some 2-row to test out my homebrew system decided not to use it for that. After watching your video I'm going to brew an IPA using CTZ, Simicoe, and citra hops. What would you recommend for amounts for a 5 gallon batch and timing when to add?

    As a homebrewer, I alway added Carapils for head retention when I skip speciality malt in my light IPAs. If this beer is 100% 2row, is the need for carapils just a misconception. Can you speak to that?

    Barley with two rows of kernels. As opposed to six-row. Two-row has more sugar for fermentation.

    Took me a little while to "get" this beer, and what you were aiming for. I found it drank better at a slightly-warmer-than-fridge temperature. It really grew on me.

    Delicious beer, Ben. Great WCIPA flavor at a nice ABV. I could drink this all the time. Would love to see this as well as some of your other beers in Illinois. Thanks for sharing this beer as part of the IPA Fest!

    Ben, given there are so many breweries in Portland, are breweries there supportive of each other or quietly competitive?

    I noticed you were the only brewer to mention the malt bill for the IPA in the walkthrough videos. How important is the malt bill when slamming it with different hops?
