Carton is one of my absolute favorite breweries and I would absolutely be into some direct shipments to Florida (our regulations are very friendly to breweries sending beer direct).

Augie, are you willing to pressure the New York Red Bulls to be the official beer for the soccer arena in Harrison, NJ. We need better beer, please.

Not a question, but this is fantastic. Unique. Flavorful. Crazy drinkable for the ABV. Kudos. Cheers.

Do you guys actually answer questions that are posted here or do you just ramble about random beer-related topics? I’m fine with either, just curious lol

My wife generally doesn't like barleywines. However, this doesn't taste like the typical barleywine. Very interesting for the style....

Would you consider rebrewing this beer with some black vs maraschino cherries?
I think it may introduce a bolder flavor that is less sweet and has more depth if used in smaller amounts.

    Bonus question:
Would you rather fight a horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?
And what beer would you drink while doing so?

Lived in North and South Jersey, and there is totally a difference, but as long as all identify as being Jersey, there is no love lost! As long as none ID as Philly or NYC, that works for me. Jersey is it's own special culture and ecosystem.

Since you have so much much fruit and sugar as fermentable sugars. What does the grain bill look like and how long did it take to ferment? Is it bottle (can) conditioned or forced carbonated?

Hi there, Fantastic beer! Question, though, People normally equate green apple as an off flavor, and this is quite present in the aroma and flavor. How was this intentionally done without incorporating the off flavors?

I’m getting it too. I wonder if it’s the oxidation from the barrels. Personally, I like it.

Really like this beer. Very unusual and yet tasty! There is something about it that disguises it as whisky yet it is beer. Nice cherry undertone.. Like it a lot.

How many barrels do you think you've tasted over the years? It must take time to develop a pallet sophisticated enough to be a talented blender.

Really love this. The port wine aspect is great. This is the type of beer you share with friends in your physically distanced backyard hang. Can't wait until it gets warmer in MA to actually do that again.
