If any of you have watched "What We Do In the Shadows", I love how you have to call him Joe Short like in the show with Colin Robinson

 

Fantastic beer! But we gotta know.... is Todd drinking out of a wine glass?

 

As this beer warms the whiskey and maple become more prominent. I love it.

Joe, you mentioned that you enjoy pilsners. What are a couple of your favorite pilsners?

 

Dark beer scares people. I tried getting my dad to drink stouts for years. Then much later at a bar I saw him with a Guinness! I was stunned know my dad will drink a stout. Once my Mom and Sister drank one of my KBS's. I've created a bunch of monsters.

 

Where does the maple syrup come from?

As a woman veryyyyyyyy into beer, lol at this story. This beer tasted nice and boozy, pleasantly surprised to see 7.9%. Guess I'll crack another one afterwards!

Smells amazing. Sessionable barrel aged beer. To Joe’s point about women and beer, I haven’t met a woman that doesn’t like Southern Tiers Choklat Oranj.

 

Yeah I think it's been labelled a "classic." But in my mind...not really. Like Scarface, watch it again and you might be like me..."I loved it and thought it was amazing when I was 22." But now with a little more life...I know Cubans...Al Pacino ain't convincing.

Joe is right I had my wife taste this stout and she loved it. It has an apt name. Super delicious stout.
