    Lager Fest in Cyberspace (2021) Virtual Booth/Discussion Thread for:

    Wibby Brewing (Longmont, Colorado)

    Volksbier Vienna; Vienna Lager; 5.5%; 12oz can
    This is "the people's beer"! We used all German ingredients for this mild, amber, malty beer. Volksbier took home the gold medal at GABF 2020 and the silver medal in the Red or Amber Lager Category at the 2018 Frankfurt International Trophy.

    Technically Marzen is a strength designation in Germany and Austria I believe.

    But people typically associate “Marzen” with the amber style Oktoberfest. Marzen will likely be maltier, and a stronger ABV. Might use Munich and Vienna malts, maybe even Pils if they want to go lighter.

    Vienna would be hoppier, and lighter overall. Obviously Vienna malts will play a big part.

    Someone more knowledgeable than me are totally free to edit the above!
