Born Yesterday in Seattle?

Haven't seen it yet. Hopefully it makes it's way here. Looks really good. Been getting great reviews.

 

I checked the website yesterday as I was curious if it was a real fresh hop ale (appears to be, though the timing is suspect). It listed Washington and hundreds of retailers/bars on the list to receive this.

F Lagunitas, but just passing the info along.

 

I had it tonight. Lagunitas sent a bottle to a local blogger, who was kind enough to share with me. It's good, but had an element I didn't dig (don't want to prejudice anybody else's experience), so it's not among the best FH beers I had this year. still trying to figure out what happened behind the scenes to cause the late timing of this beer.

With Two Beers' early release and this late one, 2014 has been the longest fresh hop season I can remember, and I have no problem with that. :-)

It was VERY LIMITED. We sold out today.

 

Beer Junction has it on draft and still had 6 packs as of couple of hours ago. It's very good.

 

This beer has my full support! you can smell it as soon as you open the bottle while its an arms distance away. Well done Lagunitas! I knew they would deliver

On tap at Toronado, too. I only drink WA beer on Hawks game days, or id walk over for a pint.

 

It's only weird if it doesn't work. Just curious, did you only drink WA beer on weeks 2, 6 and 7 too?

 

Every week since September 2013. It's a fun way to try local stuff.

 

This is what I've been having for a few Sundays now...

 

I normally have one, but like to shake it up. Today I had a bomber of Cowiche Mosaic and Wingman's Brett Berlinerweisse.

 

99 Bottles received a second shipment yesterday, I'm guessing we'll see more in Seattle.

 

Is it a new batch or the same stuff that was bottled back in October?

 

I think there is only one batch, it's a fresh hop. I'll check for a date stamp when I get home and have one. I've had it on draft twice, curious how this holds up now after two weeks.

 

That's what I thought. They better be lowering the price then. It's old.
