It’s definitely around areas. Check the finder. Used it today to get mine north in Seacoast NH. I know it’s in MA stores as well. They for sure have it in Burlington MA area as the ladies mom lives there and it was available.
Mosaic hops can provide a myriad of flavors depending on where the hops are grown, when they were harvested, etc. What is (are) the dominant flavor(s) you are perceiving in this year's version? Cheers!
Well, I'm out. When I have Mosaic I just get peppers and garlic, which while they're things I love in food, not so much in drink.
Do you get those flavors consistently with beers that feature Mosaic hops? The garlic aspect is frequently attributed to late harvest Mosaic. Cheers! P.S. In the past (i.e., 5-10 years ago) I sometimes would pick up blueberry from commercially brewed beers that featured Mosaic. I haven't picked up blueberry in more recent years.
I've had some in the last couple of years that haven't had it, but more often then not I get that flavor. I think I'm in a similar taste with Peacharine, I haven't had a beer with that hop that I've liked yet.
It’s very much the dank blueberry/berry thing with an earthiness for sure. It’s very similar to other recent BY. Say 2023 and the last year before they made that other beer we shal not name instead. From a look perspective, it’s similar to the hazy look of 2017(or it was both 16 and 17). You can see it in the bottle before you open it like that year. I remember people saying the beers out of one location were hazy and others were clearer that year.
Picked up two, six packs at Empire in Kingston (thanks Nate). None @ Kappy's in Norwell, or Curtis in Cohasset. WTF?
Would have liked to pick this up at Wegmans but it’s on the shelf and not the fridge. Normally I’m not too picky about that but I feel like this should in a fridge.
