I'll be in Boston for a day, then off to Bermuda. Any good recommendations for tasting rooms/brew pubs in Boston...and in Hamilton, Bermuda?
Harpoon and Trillium breweries are both close to the cruise port, harpoon has a nice beer hall with pretzels. Row 34 is probably the best restaurant beer selection in that area.
If you're staying near the airport, Night Shift isn't bad to get to if you have a car. Would also be a reasonable Uber, but there isn't anything else around it. Harpoon/Trillium/Row 34 would be my suggestion as well, but depends on where you're staying.
I would absolutely recommend grabbing some growlers and bottles from Trillium for your cruise. (as long as you have a fridge in your cabin) I can only imagine how sweet it would be to pop a fresh 64 of some Fort Point on a Bermuda beach. Have fun!
I took that cruise last year, there is a brewpub right off the boat that wasn't bad at all- the Frog and Onion. if you're taking the Dawn there was nothing better than Sam and Sn on board. The cruise was a great time and as you probably know you can't bring beer or booze on board with you.
The Frog & Onion is great, as WeymouthMike said. It's the home of Dockyard Brewing. They offer flights of beer. Also, check out the Hog Penny Pub in downtown Hamilton. They had three Dockyard beers available on draft when I was there in the spring of 2014.
