Visiting the Boston area with Family and looking to get advice on which Breweries and Restaurants to visit. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Define Boston area for us. In the city, west, south, north?

Priority one - focus on Trillium -- and hit R34 Oyster/beer bar next door. Bedford/Woburn -- beer wasteland. Woburn has a new brewery called Lord Hobo but they are a few weeks from opening. There is a Yard House up 128 not far from Woburn but it's nothing special.

As someone already pointed out, Trillium is the best bet for bottles and growlers of world class beers, and Row 34 is right next door and has an amazing food menu, as well as tap list.

If you're able to drive, also check out Night Shift in Everett

Cambridge Brewing Company is always worth a stop, especially if you have family with you. Solid food and a diverse and affordable tap list. You can also park there and get a chaser ticket from the host stand to validate your ticket at the garage behind it.

Both Woburn and Lexington(close enough to Bedford) have Waxy O'Connors. Decent food and beer lists. Woburn always has Wormtown Be Hoppy and a Jacks Abby or two on tap along with a Clown Shoes beer and sometimes a Slumbrew. Best option for decent beer in those areas.

There is only one must-go restaurant in Woburn and it is Sichuan Garden II/ The Baldwin Bar. It is the best Chinese food I have had in the Boston area and the bar is run by by Ran Duan, who has been described by GQ as "America's Best Bartender." Admittedly I go there for the cocktails and not the beer, but their beer list is decent.

This 100%, don't pay any attention to the scumbag lawyer that tried to sue this place for charging 11 cents more than the site said they charge or what ever the hell happened...

Assuming you have a car, I'd check out Trillium Brewing in Boston and then head across the river to the Kendall Square area where you'll find Lord Hobo, Cambridge Brewing Company and Meadhall which is probably the best craft beer bang and they're all really close to one another. You won't find anything in Woburn

You can also walk down to Lord Hobo, which has a nice tap and bottle selection.
