Must check beer bars and pubs - Publick House, Meadhall, Lord Hobo, Deep Ellum, Sunset Grill & Tap (if you don't mind the atmosphere)

Lower Depths on CommAve has great beer list. Salty Pig and Picco near Tremont/Dartmouth are also nice and have great food... There's a couple threads about this on the site. You can also just do a search on Boston in "Places" on the website and order by ratings...you get a nice list of places to check out. Catch a game at Fenway if you can...if you're in Fenway, stop by Citizens Pulic House. Welcome to Boston.

Cambridge Brewing Company .. I think they still have "Mellow Gold" on tap - a nice 4.5% sour.

If their anniversary beer is still on, that is a must try as well.

Pretty sure it still is, and Banryu Ichi is on as well now. Not everyday you get to try a beer/sake hybrid.

How is that? I thought about trying it when I was there the other day, but I find sake repulsive. I wasn't sure how much it tasted like sake since they really just use the fermenting sake to start the beer fermentation?
