    That is a really good point, I would notice if I added an extra ~6# of grains in a 10 gallon batch, I'm not sure it would be possible to avoid massive dough balls with that much extra grains in a 3 gallon batch.

    But, the OG was crazy high, so there is probably some extra malts in there.

    @Maich what was your intended recipe? I'm trying to wrap my head around what this would look like in the mash tun.
