I save a lot of beer bottles that I drink because I love the artwork on the labels.

Recently, I've been trying to find something to do with the labels so that I can get rid of all the damn bottles sitting around in my apartment. This weekend, I used a heat gun lifted the labels off 54 beers from around the Chicagoland area. I glued them to a piece of stretched canvas and put a few coats of lacquer on top, and this is what came of it.

I think it turned out pretty cool for relatively no planning. It ended up being mostly Pipeworks and FFF but that's ok because Pipeworks is my favorite.

(Bonus points if you can name all the breweries)

You should add some of the Blue Moon Graffiti Collection labels.

Look great man. What type of heat gun did you use? Soaking bottles in warm water + Oxyclean is very time consuming...

Nice job, looks great. Check out Gigantic Brewing in Portland for some cool label art.

I'm going to do more, but I wanted to keep this one just local beer.

There's probably a much less painful way to start the process, but I just used my good ol' finger nails to get an edge up and then carefully pealed back the label after heating up the glue with an embossing gun.

Each brewery is slightly different in the labels/adhesive that they use so it just took some trial and error to figure out what worked best for each.

To stick them down, I used an adhesive spray and then coated the whole thing with lacquer once finished. It holds everything down nicely and gives it a shine which seems to make the colors pop a lot more.

Besides the two breweries you have mentioned (Pipeworks & Three Floyds), I'll say Spiteful, Begyle, 18th Street, Half Acre, Two Brothers, Revolution, Perennial Artison Ales (collab w/Half Acre - Two Tugs) and Mikkeller (collab w/3 Floyds - Risgoop).
