    The bottle date Best by on my bottle of Lia Fail from Inveralmond in Scotland is 2294.
    Is this August 17, 2014?

    I am not sure. This is a UK beer. Sam Smith beers have the year in a letter( order of the alphabet) after the numbered day of the month. No reply from the brewery yet.
