Just bottled the latest brew on sunday and now two days later I'm seeing this in every bottle.

I've got a few batches under my belt but these stringy floaties are a new one to me.
Is it an infection and if so, what are my options? Can it be saved?
There were zero signs of infection in the primary/secondary and even the little sample I took during bottling tasted great.:slight_frown:

One approach: RDWHAHB. Give it some time and open one in a couple of weeks.
Another approach: open up a bottle now and give it a taste.
If it is an infection, there's not much that can be done. I'm guessing that it isn't though, as most infections take some time to develop, and you report it tasting fine during bottling. Perhaps this is some sort of residue that was on the bottles that has been removed by the beer and has floated to the top. Sanitizing agent? All speculation as I can't say that I've ever seen anything like this.

I have no idea what it is. But if you're worried about infection you could always pasteurize the bottles. You can google for instructions, but basically you just heat a water bath up to 180F or so and then let the bottles sit for 10-15 mins.

Obviously, you need to wait until the bottles are carbed to the level you want before you do this.
