I would of tasted the crack ones to see if their oxidized. Before posting i would of went back to the store to see if the others were cracked, then contact SN. Had a neighbor get bad beer from New Belgium, gave him the number and they refunded him right away.

Never had a problem with SN.

    Suggest you talk to Publix.

It's very important you send the bottle back. Their curious and want to solve the mystery.

It isn’t important enough to send the bottle back? It reads like they will send you a package that will be prepaid. Why not send the bottle(s) back for analysis?

Yeah maybe every one should go back to discussing IPAs or the next fruit IPA being released, that would be a far more interesting conversation. :stuck_out_tongue:

OK I'm going to chip in here with about ten years in the glass bottle industry.
I do not think those are "cracks" I think what you are seeing is a slight defect in the mold that left a line on the outside of the bottle.
#1 true cracks (called checks in the industry) are almost always visible as very bright straight lines that can be seen at an angle as going completely though the bottle from the outside to the inside
#2 If indeed they were cracks completely through the glass the entire top of the bottle would have exploded off the bottle due to the internal pressure
#3 The OP stated that he uncapped one and drank it, if indeed it was cracked the mechanical stress of removing the cap would have resulted in cracking the neck of the bottle off or the beer would have been flat, neither was reported.
In my opinion (without physically inspecting the bottles) what you are seeing are called "Body Marks"

ok so yesterday i picked up another 6 pack of sn pale ale from a gas station this time and all bottles have a hairline crack in the neck similier to what i posted about before and one i can even feel it with my fingernail so i dont think its just a "imperfection" its cracked

im pissed i spent my money on cracked bottles again but i really want to know why i keep having this problem with only sn pale ale havent had this problem with sn torpedo or any other beers from anywhere

and also 5-6 days ago i got a 6 pack on sn pale ale and 1 out of 6 had the same proble mbut i didint say anything about it because stuff happend and i dont know if it happend with shipping/loading/unloading or what

am i going to have to start buying cans only of pale ale? depending on were this problem is happening?

but heres some pictures i just now took of the 6 pack i bought yesterday since people think im trolling or something its really hard to get pictures of it let alone see it but luckely i have a good enough camera

the first one i can actually feel with my fingernail

No idea how you even noticed that. If the beer is fine, if you don't cut yourself on it, and if there is no glass in the beer - why dwell on it?

well the first time i noticed they were much bigger so ive been looking them ever since and have been continueing to see them and i said only the pale ale ive seen this not the torpedo or any other beers ever which means there might be a problem and since i could even feel one with my fingernail this time it might not just be a glass imperfection

not trying to sound crazy but just trying to figure out why,how and what is it

Can I ask why you do not use anything resembling proper punctuation and capitalization? For a lot of us, I think this is distracting from your bottle issue. When you get to the point in a sentence when you would need to take a breath, try adding a comma.

well today i actually went and bought 2 16oz cans of pale ale and 2 of torpedo so i guess my issue is solved..sort of

still i dont think what ive been experiencing with the bottles should be happening since its only been with sn pale ale from what ive experienced and not torpedo or any other beers from anywhere so im going to stay away from there bottles for a bit i guess even though bottle conditioning is probably better that can conditioning or does it matter?
