Bottle Limits at Russian River Brewery?

    Are there bottle limits on bottles purchased at the brewery? I vaguely remember there was a 4-5 bottle limit last time I was there, but that was 2 years ago. I'm thinking about having some Pliny and Temptation at my wedding reception!

    I'm going to be in Sonoma tomorrow, was planning to swing by Russian River at some point in the next couple of days. Are you hanging out in that area?

    So you're driving down to SD and then back up again at the end of the week? If so can you get some Alpine? :slight_smile:

    One case of pliney a day and its 120 bucks, blind pig no limit at all also 120 a case(24 beers), not a temptation fan and have no idea if there is a limit.

    Last time I was there it was 1 case ( 12 ) for sours like Temptation etc, and 2 cases ( 48 ) for PtE and BP.

    I was there in august, friday night bar staff said he would let me roll with 2 cases of pliney and a unlimited amount of blind pig, i was taking cab to hotel and 4 cases in a cab was a stretch..he told me staff working the next day would only let one case of pliney go per day but BP was unlimited. Point is...might depend who is working and who is around. I ended up taking 1 case of pliney friday night in cab and 1 case of pliney and 2 cases of blind pig the next day along with a growler of happy hops. Expensive trip!

    Jesus!! 480 bones on 4 cases of 2 different beers?! Is this brew really THAT good?! I just spent $180 on 17 different growlers and though i'm excited about it, i kinda have a sick feeling in my stomach, cuz i know i spent too much... :S

    Was there the day after thanksgiving and picked up 2 cases of supplication, 2 cases of temptation and a mixed case of blind pig/pliny. Got the sense i could have ordered more of everything if i wanted to. No mention to me of any limits.

    I love pliney...probably my #3 beer of all time, citra being #1 and i did have a couple people, "take some beer off my hands" when i got home. Rr is about 5 hours away so i had to make the trip worth while....

    Isn't there a liquor store near Russian River that sells their beer at a cheaper price?

    Bottle Barn, cheaper and sometimes fresher. Not sure if you can buy in the same quantities, though.

    It's cheaper by about $0.50/bottle. The savings won't be enormous unless you're buying massive quantities. But, it's a really good store with very good prices on all beers.
