Mad props brother. I was curious when the Magnums were first mentioned, and now I can just ask you: what are your plans for it? I feel like if it were me, I wouldn't get much use out of a Magnum, because I'd be unable to ever actually open such a treasure.

 

That's a very fair question! Honestly, it'd have to be some crazy big event for me to even consider opening this haha. I'm exploring what possibilities I have for trading but thinking of the logistics of that, as well as what I'd even want is ridiculous haha.

I'm contemplating seeing if anyone with a Club 33 membership would trading an invitation for the wifey and I to eat there haha. Again, all of this is just a game of "what ifs" for me still. Honestly, still in complete shock that I got it along with other goodies that morning and taking it all in.

 

You would be disappointed with Club 33. Food portions for ants. Went and got In n Out after lol. And I'm 6'1 165lbs.

Rather go to Alexander's or Houston's in Pasadena.

Is it Ground State time? Batch one GS was so much better with the vanilla and no maple syrup. Wishing they would keep the original recipe.

 

The maple syrup variant was Reaction State. But I do agree that b1 was much better than b2. I hope they release reaction state again this year

 

Well, batch one had vanilla, batch 2 had little to no vanilla with maple syrup taking its place. Reaction state was aged in maple syrup barrels but what made it a variant was the addition of cinnamon and barrel aged coffee.

Bottle Logic Instagram just posted that they have "epic plans for the Modern Times Carnival of Caffeination".

Currently they only have Mocha Ex Machina & Muscle and Mayhem. Perhaps we'll see a preview of Ground State and/or Reaction State? I can't imagine they'll just bring these two beers, expecting some delicious stasis coffee beer or variant!
