Bottle Logic 2018 (Q1)

I agree, and will probably end up going a couple of nights as I'll be in the area for other things. It's definitely a cool way to see some of the fun stuff the brewery is working on for the year ahead and it's pretty certain that whenever I go, I'll run into a few beer friends/acquaintances that I don't normally see.

 

Don't worry, I drank all of your leftovers. Didn't even have to spend a dime at WoL

 

I get going once or twice in a week. But 7 days in a row is a little crazy for people that live an hour away.

 

Okay, what are these easter egg codes? Where can they be found? And what is the prize?

 

You can guy a bottle before the sale starts by entering a promo code that the easter egg gives you a clue to

 

Where do you get the clues from? From the beer bottle label?

 

From the Instagram post it appears to be a deep cut reference to Dungeons and Dragons, whatever that means.

 

It said either 3 people have gotten the clues or 3 clues have been figured out. Either way, it seems like no one cares for them.

 

Ummmm....this is my past time, back when I was young, the world was in front of me, I wasn't bitter and jaded. Now I am just struggling to find a solid DM that isn't already taken so I can play again.

 

Ain't nobody got time for that shit just to get an early access bottle. Hell I barely have time to touch myself after watching Top Chef

 

I hope FO & Number Crunch are at the same time again this year. So I can justify going out there.

 

That would be great if Bottle Logic hooked up the OG's that were teir 3, level up, etc over the years. Multi years shows some dedication haha

 

I had just assumed that whoever went to T3, level up, and again this year will get first dibs on their membership when the time comes. Then whoever went to only 2 out of 3, or 3 out of 4 years of WoL will get in all before public the sale (if there even is one). Maybe this goes without saying.

 

sure is a lot of speculation about memberships, special bonus and what not. They don't want to make it like that from what I can gather. You come every day, then you get the guaranteed extra bottle. With production increasing, if it's not worth it to you, then fine. But there's really little incentive to have to spice up that current arrangement as is.

 

Yea, I'm perfectly happy with the Level Up benefits as they are: makes the F5 race a lot less stressful when its just for extra bottles. Even though I'm definitely going for any Level Up program they offer this year, I really hope they don't go the route of "member"-only releases; in the age of every brewery seemingly having either a membership program or super-secret unannounced releases on weekdays, BL is single-handedly keeping craft beer democratic.

 

Hey, @bottlelogiclindsay: I imagine the answer is no, what with the week of logic this month, but are there any expected can releases this month?

I could have sworn on more than one occasion I've read they were thinking of doing memberships once their sour beer takes off, but I could be imagining things, I'm not 100%.

WOL is just a great time to hang out and drink some delicious beers. One of my favorite last year was their Bantha Milk (blueberry stout), Mellon Baller, War and Peace that I haven’t seeb rerelease throughout the year. I easily spent 200 for the 7 days, and like everyone else, I’d like a little more than just a guarantee bottle. Nonetheless, I’m looking forward to this.
