I wondered if their comment about 2400 people clicking on the “Tickets” button at once indicated that there were 7200 bottles available (if they have to leave room for everyone to get 3 bottles) or 2400 bottles available (if they just have to allow for a bottle per order). That would obviously not take into account the bottles already taken by Level Up or anything else they held back. Of course, this could all be tinfoil hat thinking on my part.

I don’t think it has anything to do with the number of bottles. Just an Eventbrite thing to manage the load.

They said a couple thousand tickets. If they consider a ticket per bottle that'd be ~2000 bottles in the public sale, probably another ~2000 to level up. If they consider a ticket a full allotment then that would have been ~6000 in the public sale.

1 ticket = 1 bottle. Level Up people and solo bottle buyers don’t get 1/3 of a ticket for their one bottle.

The 2400 number is just how many people attempted to buy at the same time, not how many bottles were available.

Neither is an indication of how many bottles were actually produced. Although if they did say a couple thousand tickets would be up for public sale someplace (I never saw that), then I would go with that number plus the 2,000ish Level Up, like you said.

One of my friend's wife is currently 9 months pregnant, so wherever he goes he always has a go-bag and an escape plan in case he gets the call and needs to leave immediately to head to the hospital. I just realized that I'm currently the same way, but waiting for an instagram post about the booklets for WoL instead of news that I'm about to be a father. This is the saddest thought I've had about my craft beer "hobby" in a long time dude...

7 times I had the green order button show up after refreshing. 7 times I struck out. Any idea of what they're tapping next week?

Managed to secure 3 bottles while on the members-only Alesmith tour. Guess now I gotta either make the drive up or else carpool with a few buddies.

In years past, have you been allowed to pickup an extra passport for a friend or does each person need to register in person?

You need to pick up your own passport in person. No grabbing one for a friend (or grabbing a bunch to trade in open auction, as would inevitably happen if they didn’t have this rule).

Are we sure that's a new rule? Last year there wasn't a print limit so we were able to pickup the passport for others. I know because a friend picked up for me.

Week of Logic on UnTappd. Leche Reserva

Our 'reserva' treatment of Leche Borracho awakens today after an exceptional two-year siesta in tequila barrels.

This event-exclusive offering was brewed with a firey combination of coco powder and habanero and ancho chili peppers before aging with creamy Planifolia vanilla beans in tequila barrels which previously held red wine.

Camino Verde cacao nibs and Vietnamese cinnamon finish out the beer, tempering the ancho, poblano, and chipotle pepper heat with a soft baking spice sweetness.

Please, for the love of God, let this be tapped on a weekday. I don't think Anaheim can handle our shit-showiness if it's a weekend release...
