"This 8.4% beer features over 300 lbs of fresh guava" isn't a selling point for me, either.

There an Easter egg code for this one? Kept trying transformer stuff... variations on ‘ultra magnus’... no luck.

J Wakefield makes great stouts but his IPA’s and in particular, NEIPA’s have never made a splash. Collabing with him makes sense on stouts. BL should focus on collabing with good IPA makers. Greet Notion and the Anser make great IPA’s. That was a wise choice.
Also, this is the highest price I’ve seen for a double IPA.

I dunno, I don't mind higher cost when it is for a reason. And while this is higher than most double IPAs, most doubles aren't made with 300 lbs of fresh guava...

I'll test my luck on the distro. side as well. Sometimes it goes a little cheaper and you save on the eventbrite fees. For example, I've seen some places sell Red Rover $18.99.

I hope BL would come out with a online merch site that includes selling beer ie: Modern Times/Prairie. Eventually you get away from eventbrite. sales.

I would love that, but they have to have a functioning website first before they create their own sales portal. I love BL and they put so much attention to detail into their beers, but their website is a mess. This section in particular is hugely outdated: http://bottlelogic.com/beers

I totally agree! Their website is light years behind their beer and tasting room...

On the topic of Red Rover - can anyone speak to the similarities/differences between Horadric Red and Red Rover? I actually enjoyed Horadric and was wondering if Red Rover was worth any effort based on the only other red I’ve had from them. Thanks!

On the surface, you could say it's basically Horadric with cinnamon. The oak chips are likely what makes RR slightly more tannic than Horadric? I don't mind that. I didn't grab any Red Rover bottles online, but strolled into a local store and found one, which I quite enjoyed.

I had red rover and backwards compatibility back to back and enjoyed red rover more. I loved the cassia bark and got almost no cherry out of compatibility. I had horadic a year ago and thought red rover was miles better.

I also really enjoyed Horadric, but only had it with a flight of BA beers. But it was enough for me to know I wanted bottles of Red Rover. Glad I bought them. Red Rover is excellent.

Full disclosure: I love red ales, and even more so if they spend some time in a barrel.

Bottle line: If you like Horadric, you should try Red Rover.

I agree with this. I rather liked 100 Hand Slap. Frogger GLC? I'm whatever about. It's tasty, but I could have gone without it.

100 hand slap was awesomely good. This collab coming up thursday i'm interested in. I spent $$$ on offshoot's releases and look how that went, how could I not give BL a shot on their cans.

I'm a sucker for guava, so will likely max out on this one.

Is there a picture anywhere of the Jam the Radar "cordial glasses"?

"coming soon" on the eventbrite page. I'm sure they'll be up well before Sunday, so no need to fret.
