One 6oz pour of Theorem is the equivalent of two 80 proof shots of liquor. So yes, prepare for a shitshow.

How's the line for field journals looking?

 

Other than getting the pretty color you prefer, there's not really much use in waiting in line for these. They made a ton, and last year they lasted well into the first (maybe second?) day of WoL, so there's not really any reason to rush over and get one.

 

Yeah, I work across the street so I'd rather get it out of the way now since I'm already here, definitely not standing in line for a book. But maybe Sunday will work if there is a line.

 

About 200 people in line at 430

 

they would be very very very very smart to limit FT to 2 pours per person. I know they want to make money but the potential risks of people going ham and drinking 6+ pours in one sitting isnt worth it. It will sell out regardless, even if you limit it.

 

The PD will be very appreciative of the extra tickets they get to write.

 

I mean, I'd hope people are smart enough to limit themselves or have alternative transportation.

300 people in line for something that will last the whole weekend at least? The FOMO is real. When are people gonna learn, these journals have literally never run out before.

 

Some people like beer. Some people just like queuing.

 

If FOMO critical mass is reached, the queue lovers will succeed in depleting the paper booklets. Better head over!

 

People are so goddamn weird...

 

The beauty of it all is you don't have to understand or agree. No dog in this fight but it's cool that some people genuinely get excited to hop in line, regardless of the wait, and grab a passport for the experience/future beer/camaraderie with their friends/etc.

I feel the same way about 3 Chiefs but avoid posting in that cancerous thread like the plague.
