We were one of the guys waiting in line. Kinda regret it, kinda don't. Actually, I wish I brought a less wind permeable jacket. That's about it.

 

I waited as well, but mostly because I work late today and tomorrow and want to be able to just walk in and get a pour with no fuss.

 

How are the lines today?

 

Not bad, I was hell-bent on getting there around noon because I saw on IG in a comment they made to someone only 500 were left, but then they made a formal post later that said they had 2300 after I already got there. I waited probably 20 minutes and the line wasn't growing much behind me. It was shorter when I left then when I got there

 

Are you guys able to grab a drink in these lines as well or are they really just for a notebook?

 

I mean you get some pins too

 

Got there around 3. Walked right up and got my journal. Oh, and 4 nerd pins to. They must think i wear Disneyland pins as well.

 

Same here, had a nerd ask me to trade him some. I gave him all of my pins. Made his day probably.

 

And I’d hope to win a few million in the lottery. Unfortunately, I’ve seen way too many people drink way too much and decide to drive home. As a great man once said, “Stupid is as stupid does...”

 

There's some game tied to the pins and trading for what you need. Not sure if it applies to merch or what but Lindsay posted about it.

 

The pins are just for fun. You end up with another red pin at the end when you complete it. There's no crazy beer thing to go with it, it's literally just a small little side game for those that want to participate. If you don't want to, then don't.

 

No surprise FT is really hot off the line... the Horchata beer was nice

 

Loved El Duende previously - waiting for them to bottle an Horchata-inspired so I can spend a year’s worth of salary on acquiring

 

I did a blend of "roll for initiative" and "as you wish". I named it " roll for a wish" on untapped.

 

Interested in hearing more FT reviews - what's the verdict?

 

The two non-BA stouts were the standouts to me. Goron City and As You Wish. BL if you are listening, please crowler/bottle those. The flavor, nose and body on those two were on point with the descriptions.

 

Goron City was fantastic. Hope to see that back again.

 

Stopped by today and tried FT. Super boozy, needs some time IMO. There was very little carb, given it was the draft version.

Roll for Initiative is still drinking fantastic.
