Today is going to be fucked. Rain = no one on the patio and everyone jammed into the tiny ass tasting room.

Same scenario for me...multiple times with 2 in cart, bumped, finally tried 1 in the cart, that got bumped out as well. Frustrating for sure.

Dare I ask how packed it is right now? Lol. This rain can't be helping what's normally a very busy taproom on a release day.

Line is ******ed long just to get a pour. Probably 40-50 deep. Out to the street on Armando. Not really moving at all either. Place is at capacity and they’re only letting people in when people leave. I love BL’s beers so much but this shit just sucks. I used to love coming here. Now it’s a chore just to get a drink.

Didn’t help that they had to hold the line outside because they were at capacity inside the tasting room and on the patio. First time I’ve seen that there.

Longest line at open I’ve seen since FOb1 (not counting WoL’s). Left about 45min. Ago and there was a line or 20 waiting to get in (they’re at capacity). Official word is they’re halfway done with the kegs, so get over there sooner rather than later.

Also, IMHO, it was much better on tap today than the two low fill pours I had a week or so ago.

I should probably note that their staff did a great job handling the rush and crowd.

Their tasting room just currently can’t handle the crowd that’s been there today.

I’m here now and I didn’t wait more than like 10 minutes at most. If you’re gonna roll through to try it on tap, now is the time. That being said it’s cramped af in here.

I know it’s been said over and over but the experience in the tasting room has become intolerable. Expansion is needed badly. Speaking as a lifelong resident, fuck the city of Anaheim.

Simple solution, just don't go. Lol. The weather, limited batch size, and small tasting room were all factors for me to avoid this mess.

Coconut is definitely there, even more so as it warms. Great barrel and thicker than what they’ve put out lately.

Arrived at 3:15 PM. 10 minutes to get in the door, then no wait at the bar. HI lived up the my expectations with a nice thickness, strong barrel character and coconut that opens and the beer warms.

That's what I found disappointing. They added double the coconut and you can't even taste it until the beer hits room temps. It's still a great beer, but a little underwhelming in my opinion. ST B1 exploded with coconut from start to finish regardless of temps.

Personally, I think it comes down to palate, bc I got massive coconut from the draft I tasted, and it wasn't room temp. Either some of us need to minimize the flamin' hot cheetos or perhaps enhance the intake of said flamin' hot cheetos. Still not sure if they help or hinder the taste buds, lol.

What time does the outside line for bottle pickup close tonight?

Bottle pickup always runs throughout complete Tasting Room operating hours (12:00pm-12:00am today). If we close the bay door on the side, just come up to the main register in the Tasting Room proper.
