I've always wondered how Alpine keeps prices so low. Is rent that cheap out in that area? I'm sure the fact they turnover beer so quick helps. Maybe the restaurant is a money maker?

And yes, Strand is out of their minds with prices. I also think people have a hard time figuring out what a 500ml bottle of IPA is worth compared to what they are used to spending on a big(22oz) or small(12oz) bottle. Just a theory.

Gave Bottle Logic's Czech Pilsner a try at Bru last night, and really enjoyed it. Wish that style was more commonly brewered around these parts.

And it's damn good. It's not Bomb! great, but it's damn near close.

To me, there is nothing as good as a milk stout like Naughty Sauce...

Do they only fill growlers during Tasting Room hours?

Swung by on Saturday and wanted to try out Double Actuator before buying a bottle. Unsure how I feel about it. If we're comparing IPAS and DIPAs to nearby Noble Aleworks, then I don't think there's much of a comparison -- Noble wins out there. Still, enjoyable enough beer.

Bummed Leche Mole was not on tap, though. Wanted to check that out.
