Bottle Logic Brewing (Q3 2018)

Same. Way too much heat for my liking.

 

Taster I had this week wasn't as rum forward as I was expecting. Still not my wheelhouse cause I've decided I'm not a huge fan of BL's nutty beers, but liked it more than I was expecting too after all the other reviews.

 

Sounds like this beer was very inconsistent.

I think the good folks at Bottle Logic would prefer that those that want to try it have a good chance to buy it. My money is on them producing quite a bit.

That being said, it's still gonna sell out instantaneously.

 

I feel like if someone that really wants to hasn't tried FO at this point, they haven't tried hard enough. Heck I've had it on draft multiple times in different states now without a struggle.

If the ultimate goal was to have more people try it, they would keg more and change the bottle format to 12 oz.

 

Anyone here get a refund for missing the pick up? Was it a hassle? It looks like I may not make it this weekend.

 

Not the best answer, but I'd just email lindsay and the crew. I messed up on one of the sales with the Driver's License, and she got back to me pretty damn quick.

 

Yes, got the refund no problem on the last bottle pickup. 1 bottle of Something to smile about.

Also the instructions are on the ticket .

Bottles abandoned at the brewery after the pick-up window has closed will be immediately resold. Those holding tickets for abandoned, resold bottles may seek a refund by inquiring directly via email at [email protected].

 

Time to spend an embarrassing amount of time in figuring out the easter egg code.

Does anyone have an example of a past Easter egg code? Not sure where to start looking.

 

After nearly an hour I have given up. I feel like I could've used that hour to do something productive like actually working. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Yeah, I saw that. It also says no refunds, so wasn't quite sure if it was at their discretion(which I suppose it always is). Thanks for sharing your experience though, that's what I was looking for.

 

Ha, I was wondering the same. Not even going to buy the beer, just wanted something to look for.

 

I’d look at it this way. Last year there was a variant so people could essentially buy 5 FO beers (3 FO + 2 NC) and it sold out in minutes. This year I’d assume the batch is larger and with a limit of 4 instead of 5. Now if they add a variant then all bets are off.
Having said that, I wouldn’t expect this to last more than a few minutes.
