Since the sale page is “live,” and there’s no mention of a variant so far, I’m 99.999% certain there won’t be a “surprise” additional bottle variant for sale this time around.

Would’ve loved to get more bottles of NC (or a variant), since I could only grab one last year. But, hopefully the variants they’ve got on tap for FO Weekend will be amazing! (Finger crossed for more FOMO!)

Lol at the $1 per oz IPA and their excuse for charging it. There was at least one other time wherr they gouged on pricing and after community backlash they 'fixed' it. No doubt it's ownership going for Max profits.

I'm not sure there's more I can tell you than the simple truth.

I set the pricing for our beer. Sometimes I make mistakes. I can usually fix them.

I don't have the bone structure to be any more sinister. :beers:

If it's that big of a deal, just don't buy the product. Money talks.

It’s always the innocent looking ones that are the most dangerous... :stuck_out_tongue:

BTW, missed you at Hollingshead today!

Hi Everyone - I have a couple BL newbie questions that I'm hoping someone could help answer. A friend of mine is coming back to Ohio for a mutual friend's wedding and it times out perfectly with the FO release. I know there are no proxies, but what information is needed upon the Eventbrite purchase?

Basically I just need to know if I am able to get the ticket using my eventbrite login since I will be purchasing the bottles as a thank you to my friend and wedding gift to the other friend. Do I just need to enter the name of the friend that is going to BL upon purchase or would he need to create his own Eventbrite login? Also, I'm assuming the ticket release time of noon is pacific time? Thanks in advance for any info!

I also just realized that I should update my picture, especially when posting in a CA group

He would need to create his own eventbrite account. The name on CC used and name/DL# entered at the time of purchase have to match that of the DL for the person picking up.

All the information he'll need to pick up is a valid ID, and that the ID on the eventbrite purchase matches. It's not TECHNICALLY a proxy, since you're buying it for him. At least, that's what I've always shown on pick-ups. No need for CC.

I didn’t enjoy it. It was just too sweet for my taste.

I was able to grab a couple cans at my local. It wasn't good for me. It's weird how hit or miss it can be with their IPA's.

Kind of why I've starting passing on them. Some can be really, really good, but at the above-average price point, I'm not willing to roll the dice anymore.

i dont know why some of these places don't have regular releases of their beer that does well. I never had 100 hand slap, but most people seem to like it, and having a quality beer around at least once a year gets the name out there. Idk, all these one offs don't seem to do much especially when they're hit or miss so often.

100 hand slap was a collab with Tolbert at the Answer when he was there; it's super poor etiquette for a brewery to just re-brew a collab by themselves, so they'd probably want to get Tolbert and the Answer crew involved, which seems unlikely with him having left to start his own brewery. So I think it's safe to say 100 hand won't be coming back.

The Konami code series hit a good stride halfway through.
