    200 Hand Slap then?

What you’re saying makes sense, but the people aren’t necessarily asking for the EXACT same beer each release. We just want something at that level. 100 Hand Slap has been the one standout in terms of the Covalent Bond beers, in my opinion. It was seriously delicious.

Offshoot is just as bad if not worst IMO but at least Offshoot is getting better!

Bottle Logic should be a barrel aged brewery only. Case closed. Imagine if the sours will be bad too. Then my thought would be so crazy.

The sours I've had at week of logic were pretty bad, at least in 2017. I avoided them this year. I guess their kettle sours are good.

They have that same acidicy with that plastic underlying taste. My guess they use the same Berliner base for all their beers.

I did like Stealth Mode a lot. Console Exclusive was really good for a non BA porter. Also some of the WC styled stuff is pretty delicious.

Their non-Stasis stuff isn't on par with their BA offerings, in my opinion. They have one of the best barrel programs in the world, while almost everything else they offer is very 'meh'. Besides the Stasis offerings, nothing comes to mind personally that I think has ever stood out from the many beers I've tried there. Whereas on the contrary, some of the Stasis stuff I've tried from them are in my top beers ever. It's strange that it's so lopsided.

I agree that their barrel program is top of the game. But I do have to say I love Double Actuator. Anytime a bottle shop has a “buy one other BL beer” it’s an easy and delicious choice. Their kettle sours are above average. Other than that I usually only drink their stasis beers when I visit the tap room.
    In Summation:
Their barrel aged program has no room to grow because at perfect. Everything else could be better. And I look forward to it. I just wish the pricing was better...

From their non-packaged beers, I remember being a fan of "The Bowie" and Oculango but those don't seem to come along very often.

Lagerthym and Hanamachi are two I can think of off the top of my head.

And way back before T3 started, a green tea lager on the experiments board.

    Cracked open last year's FO.

It has become a dangerously drinkable vanilla bomb in the last 360-some days or whatever.

Anyone know what's going on with Fundamental Beer Geek? It's been well over a year since it was brewed and barreled, and the final product was at MBCC 4 months ago. I was thinking at first that it would be the level 2 release with FO this year like how Number Crunch was last year, but that doesn't seem to be the case since as of right now FO is still a solo release. Was this a super small batch beer that is just for festivals/events, and won't be hitting bottles? If so, that's a shame because it was one of the highlights of WoL for me.

I don't care about their hazys or kettle chips or whatevah - somehow they struck gold with that barrel program. Pure alchemy. And unlike how the other US brewery stout studs release their beers, we get a good-to-great ba stout/porter/strong ale release (or two) every month.

So let them experiment with other styles. I try them sometimes when one of you beer nuts guinea pig for us and write about it. So thanks for that. :beers:

BTW, a wee bit of entitlement. Somehow if they could bring back that early days customer thank you FO event where they served a flight consisting of a mix of the base FO beer and one of the barrels, well, a boy can dream.

For those who don’t know, that was a one-time FO blending event for T3 members from WoL that year (unless you also managed to taste all four barrels at the prior year’s WoL preview). While I wish they’d do it again, the increasing sizes of the “WoL memberships,” probably aren’t going to make that feasible.

Fingers crossed though for a small club membership (non-WoL), or something else, that would allow them to do it again.

Yo, fellow Academy members, don't sleep on that guaranteed bottle today: there's always someone right at sales time who realizes they forgot. Don't be that guy!
